Maybe the corporates think its great to see mobs of people trying to get into their stores and that it shows some kind of "popularity" or demand. To me, and I know others, it looks like a zoo...stressful, ugly...not a place I want to be no matter how "cheap" the bargains are. The concept of "Black Friday" is one of greedy shoppers willing to act violently to put money in a large corporates pocket. I'll wait til tomorrow and stop at small businesses.

I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for anyone hurt in that melee, frankly.

This is what we've been reduced to. Our corporate overlords cackle with glee watching us fight over cheap trinkets because wages are so depressed that's the only way we can afford the things those same overlords have programmed us to want.

It is a created "corporate" riot, and any corp that gins up that kind of fervor at their stores should fined heavily.
It is willfully creating conditions that are potentially harmful to the general public in order to harness profits.
