Elmo actor resigns

He'd been suspended a week or two ago after someone alleged an underaged sexual relationship. That accuser soon recanted. The actor's resignation today is in the wake of a second similar allegation by another person.
From the wording of the reports, I am surmising the resignation was not voluntary.
