and its all Neil Diamond's fault. In a good way.

I was outside working in the garden and Neil Diamond's America came on. I always liked Neil but the stuff from the Jazz Singer was never my favorites. Until today. For some reason while the song was playing I started to think about the Presidential Inauguration.
So there I stood in the garden singing along and the emotions flooded out and I started crying. It was the coolest thing.

I know Diamond worked the phones for Obama. Wouldn't it be so awesome to have him sing America at the Presidential Inauguration.

biased though because Neil Diamond was my favorite singer when I was five years old and I've been a fan ever since. To me, Neil can do no wrong.
