I just saw an episode called the Obsolete man in which all books are banned along with religion. Wordsmith a previous librarian is a god fearing man who is judged obsolete by the chancellor. He is condemned to death. And chooses his death to televised while he reads from a forbidden Bible he has hid to the chancellor.
I wont give away the ending but the words spoken by Rod Sterling in 1961 gave me chills thinking about the words coming out of the orange maggot, his magaloons and right wing media.
Any state, any entity, any ideology that fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, and the rights of man, that state is obsolete.
I got chills hearing that line and seeing and hearing what is going on in our country now and how a second TFG administration would be horrendous to mankind!
Twilight zone is still so relevant to today!

(2,870 posts)with the four episodes I would say are among the absolute best! I was expecting Star Trek, after watching TZ on SciFi all night last night and then today... imagine my surprise when TZ came on instead! Took it as a sign... that's what I'm suppose to be watching! (LOL)
