No, but he's sprinting toward irrelevancy. nt Javaman Nov 2012 #11
I just hope he continues to lose power and influence. Some age, but he's got a history of slippage. nolabear Nov 2012 #12

and others are less willing to allow his POW years to excuse EVERYTHING. I also think his "maverick" years were nothing more than rank opportunism. He factored in how much he could divert from the party line to gain the self-promotion that he craved.

His legacy could have been as war hero, but instead this is what people will remember -- if they remember anything at all.

Heck, if he weren't so damn nasty and self centered, he'd probably be President today.

he will finally learn his lesson and of course it will be too late and he'll go into full scale dementia from here. Kinda like Joe McCarthy's disintegration in front of the cameras after Joseph Welch called him out...

McGrumpy has access to the best mental health treatment money can buy, he should have taken advantage of it, most people would understand.

Now he simply comes off as a bitter, mentally unstable, hateful bastard who isn't nearly as intelligent as he pretends to be.

Time for him to go away.

And btw this ain't nearly the "final throes". Seems he's making enough people, and not just Lefites, uneasy, that it's becoming a topic of conversaiton.

But you know he's no goofier than that guy they just ran for president or the one that ran with him...you know, whatstheirnames.
