The Morning Joe panel really beat up John McCain this morning re Susan Rice!

Hmm, blood in the water and here come the sharks? And Joe leading the attack.

I was pleasantly surprised to see how they ripped McCain on the sexist/racist aspect of what the repubs are doing and how the White House is letting them destroy themselves with the public and practically goading the republicans to attempt a filibuster, conjuring up the image of McCain reading the White Pages in the well of the Senate...

Today's show was a delight...I think they know the game is up for McCain and they want to be on the right side of this thing when it all crumbles...

1. Republicans NEVER know the game is up.

In fact, any sentence that begins with the phrase "I think they know…" is almost certainly wrong when used in reference to Republicans.

Comes off as an angry, racist, sexist old man when he goes after Susan Rice for no reason. Even Joe Scar gets that.

6. I don't think sexism or racism is involved here.

It has more to do with the way the administration handled Benghazi and the Repubs seeing a weak response they could exploit. Defense have always been their strong point and they have lost that mantle now.

8. I agree with you about the exploitation aspect but it didn't hurt that they were beating up on

a woman and a person of color. It also might have something to do with the grudge McCain has nursed against her because she attacked McCain a few years back and he's never forgotten it...

The others two suggestions seem questionable because we have had several women as SOS and one of color who was a Republican.

IT just seems odd to me that a woman with Susan Rice's obvious qualifications is being called incompetent...there's a smell test that this thing doesn't pass, IMO...

...one of them mentioned that the Ambassador who was killed had requested extra security for Benghazi. I thought the request for extra security was for the embassy in Tripoli? Does anyone know for sure which it was? Because in all the news talks on this for the last few days, it is often mentioned that there was a request for extra security, and it seems to be assumed that the request was for Benghazi and that it was ignored by the Obama Administration -- and of course they never, ever mention the $400M cut to State Department security that was done by the Republican House.
