You're finally going. 34 years of persecuting American citizens for using drugs. 34 years of filling our prisons with people whose only crime was possessing some pot or crack cocane. 34 years of an extreme view of how YOU thought these awful criminals should be treated while your friends and allies started wars, killed innocent, and stole billions. 34 years. How did you fly under the radar for so long? Amazing.
34 years of enabling law enforcement to steal from the public. Like my friend in the 80's who lost his car, tuition money, and most of his possessions because he had a couple of joints in his car during a traffic stop. 34 years of ruining lives. But why should you give a shit? You sir are a crusader. The evil weed. Police state good, drugs bad. My friend never went back to school. He had to go to work to eke out a living because the policies you created robbed him of a future. And he never got anything back, he was too poor, one of the little people you targeted.
34 years.
TENS of THOUSANDS of lives ruined. People killed, possessions lost. And I'm positive you don't give a shit. My friend drifted away years ago. Last I heard he was headed for Vegas. I hope he made it.
34 years.
Fuck you asshole. You'll never experience the terror or pain or despair you created. But at least your sorry ass is finally gone.

[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]They worked the last campaign, which put Lungren on the endangered list, and this one that beat him, and they centered their lives around helping Dr. Bera replace him.
There were many others, too, of course, but these are the two I know best. I told them to consider your post a personal thank you note.
