Finished my degree after years this summer. Hang in there, companies will still hire you. I'm in the IT field. I've worked a lot of contract jobs for 3 to 6 months but work is out there.

The corporations are largely like Romney,
keeping a position is mostly about being a good liar and cheater now.

Not that they are all like that, but I have seen some real interesting paper on a few, and seen the results.

I'm 64, and I have gotten work several times since turning 60. Now, in my case, these are all entry-level jobs, but I have still found employment.
All the better that you have a 5 year contract.

(28,795 posts)i got my job 5 years ago but just this year my employer offered to finance my schooling and by the time i'm 60 in three years i'll have a whole new career. it is possible.
please people don't give up.
