Who will be sworn in on Jan 3, 2024. Hopefully Democrats will be in charge again after all this bs.

We’ve GOT to take the house back…thankfully it’s a pretty favorable thing

Presidential elections bring out the hardcore Trumpers.

I'd say it's 50/50

This next election will bring out out many more hardcore Anti-trumpers.
Trump lost last time, and he sure as hell hasn't gained any new support. All his campaign events are nothing but preaching to the choir.
I'm hopeful that by choosing this radical speaker, the republicans have strengthened our position.

my judgement is that we will regain the House of Representatives....

The GQP takeover in '22 was mostly a fluke....

Many House seats in NY and CA will revert to the Democrats in '24....
and the "Republicunts" are not doing anything right now to prevent that from happening....

I am not so optimistic about the Senate---- but as long as we control one house of congress,
we can block the worst of things from becoming law...

we need more people to think that it IS....

(and polls show that more think that THEY are doing well, but they think that everyone else is not.... WTF)

Look at the details.

Interest rates. Inverted yield curve, inflation, energy costs...

Auto loan delinquencies off the chart, credit card debt topped...

The rich are getting richer while the poor and working class are getting buried.

That was usually the most important measure of 'the economy', in the past...

Unfortunately, all those who have jobs seem to dislike the jobs that they have.....

and many of those do not appreciate that President Joe Biden
has acted like an adult, and done the best he could do for us--

instead of acting like a childish loudmouth (which is what they seem to like)

Employment is high but people are working and falling behind.

Not everyone, mind you... upper income folks are making FILTHY money right now...

I regularly speak with folks from my former employer, Ph.D's and M.D.'s making mid 300's to mid 400's...

I know an Endocrinologist who was in private practice for 20 years... taught at an Ivy League University for 20 years and is working for a BioPharma as a lead project manager for 800k a year...

GOP was originally projected to gain up to 40 seats in 2022, and they only managed a 5 seat majority.

2024 is a presidential election, and the odds are in Dems favor to take back the house.

If they don't win, all bets are off on getting back to what feels like normal.
The stink of the evil is strong in them.
