4. I was thinking the same thing about the different parallel elements in Drift Wood + the static

and yet dynamic piece of drift wood that introduces a dynamic element counter to/troubling the parallelism.

19. I voted for Earth, Wind and a Faraway Lake. While I appreciate the parallel principle of

photographic artistry and with this photo the twisted trees lining the straight road, and the driftwood surprise element of Drift Wood's composition, I was taken up by the blown tree and cloud composition to give an unexpected pleasure to me. It struck me strongly and made me prefer it, altho really slightly, over the rest. I wonder if this could be that it reflects my comfort zone with painting taking over, I don't really know...
