Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsAs I see it, McConnell is pretty much irrelevant but Boner is in the eye of the storm.
McConnell can just pack it in and go home. Nobody gives a shit what he has to say. Dems own the Senate even more than they did before the election.
So that leaves the entire "opposition" up to Boner. And the country is in no mood for fucking around. They want shit done and they want said shit done faster than yesterday. Boner knows this.
But Boner also knows the Crazy Wing of the repubican party is feeling pretty scared. Like the real people in the country, the Crazy Wing is in no mood for fucking around. They feel they have to get *their* shot done and get it done faster than yesterday, too.
And then there's Grover Oz.
It sure sucks to be Boner. (Note: the double entendre requires "sucks" and "boner" being in each other's position in the sentence.)
Which way do you think Boner will bend? To the grownups or to the right wing hard core?
I'm thinking he will cave big time.

In his final days a cub reporter will write that he asked Boner "what is your greatest regret?" to which a weepy-eyed Boner replies "I never broke 100, and I never got a hole-in-one."
