Body in barrel identified as Anderson, S.C. woman.

This is strange. Who would do something like this in a small town like Anderson?

The Anderson Coroner’s Office has released the identification of one of the bodies found in barrel in Lake Hartwell this week.
Coroner Greg Shore said the remains of a woman found in the first barrel have been identified as 37-year-old Andrea Kellie Mitchell of Anderson.
Mitchell, he said, does not have a fixed address. Mitchell, who was identified by fingerprint, has probably been dead for about 30 days, Shore said.
A body found in a second barrel has also been identified, Shore said, but his identity has not been released pending notification of family members.|head

That's my thought. One body. Yeah, probably a domestic thing but two? Lint Head Nov 2012 #7

Serial killers love to pick on drifters who support themselves by drugs, prostitution, or a combination. Nobody has cared about such women for years and if they're reported missing by anyone, they're shuffled to the bottom of the pile.

One body might be a grudge. Two bodies is the beginning of a big problem. It also sounds like there might be more.

A serial killer has a type that they kill. When you find two bodies of both sexes, that says to me this wasn't something random but personal.

In that case, it could also be a love triangle sort of thing.

Love sure is grand.

some people do. Even people you would never think would do such a thing. And the reasons run the gamut from spouse wanting a divorce to insurance benefits to you want your neighbors to move so you kill one of them.

They've stabbed them, shot them, tortured them, poisoned them, burned them, cooked them, mutilated them, buried them, put them in dumpsters, cut them up and dispersed them around town or in the woods, dumped them in lakes.

The killers are usually men, but some have been women. The victims are anybody and everybody, even children. I don't watch the ones about children.
