Please say Happy Birthday to a friend of mine (and definitely one of yours) November 17th

Howard Dean is currently somewhere near the Thai-Burmese border on a march to bring awareness to the issue of human trafficking:

Howard will be 64 tomorrow. He is far less in the limelight than he was, but he has been of the opinion for years now that younger blood needs to take the reins of American politics anyway. We STILL have him to thank for our taking Congress back in 2006, adding the White House in 2008, and for the 50 State Strategy, which, when Democrats remember to use it, WORKS and wins elections for us.

He correctly predicted the Senate races last week--he said we'd win all the close ones except Nevada. I was skeptical, and pressed him: even North Dakota, Virginia and Montana? He said yep. And he was right as usual.

So, Happy Birthday, Howard.

Safe travels!

Same year, too. The good guy and his evil twin.

I'll reserve my best birthday wishes for the good guy.

Howard and I have the same problem - we say what we think, and people don't want to hear it!

It was my pleasure to work on your campaign here in California, and I even got to shake your hand once.

Thanks for all you have done, and all you are still doing.

I said Howard was 63 today. He is 64. He was born in 1948, not 1949.

And he read this thread (from out there in some Thai province) and emailed me back to remind me!!
(His comment: "Thank you for making me 63 again. 64 is a drag. One year away form medicare!&quot

My apologies!!

If we can mention that it was Bonehead's birthday, too, then we can certainly acknowledge someone more worthwhile.
