Is anyone getting annoyed with Democratic strategists and pundits discussing what the GOP

needs to do to start winning elections again? It's 9 days after the election and I'm still hearing what the GOP needs to do in order to improve their party.

Had the Democrats lost the election I don't think Fox News or conservative talk radio would be having this discussion.

I could care less what the Republicans need to do to remain competitive. Let their media outlets figure this out.

This is our best chance to influence their direction and get them moving leftward. If they follow our suggestions, they can't help but move leftward and then so can the DP.

I highly doubt anyone on the left is divulging some secret tactic that the right would never figure out on its own. In fact, the right knows exactly what they need to do to start winning elections, they just won't do it because they feel it antithetical to their superior sense of morality.

OTOH, the suggestions they are making aren't practical for repubs. Repubs can't simultaneously "appeal to Latino voters" while at the same time blocking immigration reform and supporting "papers please" legislation.

The Democrats give the GOP good ideas that will work and get them elected. The GOP then cannot follow them because the ideas came from Democrats. Remember, we are dealing with 3-year olds here.

discussing. Bear in mind that 'discussing' is what these people DO for a living. It means nothing. They are Merv Griffin, they chat for a living. They are not actually attempting to fix the GOP, they are just riffing off the random fodder of the political roadside. That's how they eat.

instead of PRINCIPLES AND PLANS.

Asking what the Republicans can do differently is asking them not to BE Republicans!!

The gop is not going to change its basic goal to enrich the wealthy and impoverish the poor. If they were pro choice, pro.gay rights and pro dream act they would still be villains. The last thing maddow and the rest should be doing is to help the gop win their class war by duping voters with changes on social issues.
