Mike Morell briefed members of the House Intelligence committee on Thursday. Emerging from the session, Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff said Morell told the panel that Rice was given an initial assessment that a spontaneous protest over an anti-Muslim video evolved into an attack on the consulate ...

The fact of the election results got through. Many of them are trying to spin it (remember the five stages of grief, including denial and bargaining?), but some have acknowledged it and more may come to do so. If nothing else, they know they were misled by their "news" sources.

I think if we broadly write off all right-wingers and those brainwashed by Fox, we do them and ourselves a disservice. Engaging and educating human to human may be frustrating and sometimes seem impossible, but it can bring change (at least some, if often slowly) which ignoring the situation or declaring them universally hopeless cannot.

Being trapped in a bubble with insane people who constantly lie to you can't be fun.
