Where was that outrage when Dick Cheney was cooking up false intel to wage war.

This is a desperate attempt to call for a Special Counsel (John McCain called for a "Watergate" investigator) so they can then have the House "impeach" the President like they did with Bill Clinton first "investigating" Whitewater, then sex, then poof...impeachment.

I trust President Obama.

The Republican/Rightwing/Fox reaction is hypocritical and is a trap they want to set.

Anyone here that buys into it is either naive or perhaps wants to buy into it.

They have no intention of impeaching him . Their goal is to distract him from advancing his agenda. They know impeachment is a loser as a practical and political issue that would surely cost them the House.

But I agree they want to dirty up the President, but these people are just lunatic and they are foaming at the mouths over this (a reflex sympton from the election) and I think they honestly believe this issue will help them in the mid-terms. Of course, they cannot remove the President, but these people are crazy, lunatic and I think they'd love to hold impeachment hearings. This is the "You lie!" crowd. DSB, they are crazy. But I may be wrong about impeachment hearings.

The Repugs know this and the last thing they want to do is wake them up.

In the 98 mid term elections, which were held during the Clinton impeachment, the Democrats picked up six seats , reversing a historical trend that the party of the incumbent president loses seats.

If they tried to impeach the first black president our base which is much bigger than their's would come out in droves.

In fact I will go on to say this circus is going to hurt THEM much more than it is going to hurt US.

and we took both the House and the Senate.

We need to do that one more time, DSB. Oh that we could do it one more time.
