Why hasn't anyone in media been questioning the fact that Eric Cantor was told about Petreus

and did not report it to Diane Feinstein. I keep hearing about this jill woman, nothing about this breach in protocol.
Seems to me there is something about this that does not pass the smell test.

I guess the Peyton Place of the military and their mistresses is a lot more important than actual breaches in
security and protocol.

in the FBI.

I wonder why every member to the Senate Intelligence hasn't gone on record asking why, at the very least, Cantor's second telephone call had not been to a/any member of the Senate committee?

couldn't get a tie-in. Instead, they will accuse Obama of holding off on it until after the election.

Remember, the Repugs blame the Dems for what THEY, themselves, are doing.

If you put this scandal into a novel, no one would believe it possible. It just keeps going and going and going.

I wonder what Friday's dump will be?

Somebody set up the meeting between Woodward and the whistleblower, and I'm convinced it was Cantor.
I think he called himself covering his tracks by calling the FBI head Mueller. He knew it was info that he nor congress should be privy to, based on FBI protocol, so he followed the "letter" of the law by not telling his colleagues.

Some anonymous guy (Shirtless Fibbie) calls him with possible dirt on Obama. SrtlsFbi says it is now a matter for the FBI and that Cantor needs to use it against Obama.

Cantor, upon hearing all this without warning or preamble, decides to call the FBI and be done with it.

That is pretty much what any reasonable person would do. Even one in his position.

I didn't see him do anything wrong in this case.

The one who looked politically motivated was the FBI whistle blower. Cantor just informed the FBI director of this and kept his mouth shut.
