Easy. The republican-controlled House of Representatives is the only thing standing in the way of Obama enforcing arranged gay-marriage to an illegal communist immigrant, who would then be entitled to half of your stuff.

What happens, when a predominantly red state leaves the US? The ratios in the House and the Senate shift, turning them even more blue and bringing Obama one step closer to imposing atheist sharia-law.

The liberals induced this secession-talk with mind-control-technology borrowed from the UN (see: the recent briefing of the Georgia-GOP) to make the conservatives leave the US and bring it ever closer to a tyranny of the many over the few.
