In our dark days, you know the ones that were darker than 2000 - 2004, I'm talking about Nov. 2004 forward. Did we want to secede? Did we talk about that? I know the teabaggers want to "secdee" and I do not recall - I must be having a Republican moment - ever talking about that when the shoe was on the other foot; although it really wasn't because President Obama isn't the arrogant criminal that Bush and his cabal were. I remember wanting to leave the country but mostly it was just venting with no intention of taking action.
Just a thought, just thinking out loud.

(5,580 posts)and stuff like cascadia which i believe is the pacific coast. even had some aquaintances who griped all the time and talked of emigrating. I think this kinda crap goes across the board when people feel they didnt get their way and its human nature.
