Ryan: Presidents elected alongside a Congress of the Other Party have NO Mandate

Paul Ryan said that Obama does not have a mandate because in the same election the people chose a House of Represntatives of the opposite party.

Stop the presses! That's an awsome insight.

It's like batting practice with these morons. (The only people dumber are the reporters who never ask the appropriate follow-up questions)

Nixon 1972: No mandate. (Nixon was impeached by a Democratic House)

Reagan 1984: No mandate. (Those famous Reagan/Tip O'Neill deals were made with, gasp, Speaker of the House Tip O'Neill)

because of gerrymandering. Otherwise, they would have lost the House too.
