with two tirades against Obama. One where Obama stole part of the $300 billion that went missing from the $700 billion bailout and another about having to protect himself against Obama.
My initial reaction was of course anger but my second thought was the way Ace Ventura says it so well: "Loo-hoo-zzzz-her!"
I suggested we drop politics and focus on governors (that is: engine governors). He then joked "All governors should be republicans!". Nobody laughed.
Sometimes it's hard not to gloat.

(56,582 posts)Maxwell's "On Governors" is just as important as his Treatise on Electromagnetism, IMO. Control Theory was the best class I ever had.
Completely off topic, but still.
Dont get me started either!

(47,675 posts)There's an old saying about mopeds - they go fast enough to get into trouble but not fast enough to get out of it. The same is true for semi's. Sometimes they really do need that extra speed to make traffic flow smoothly. Morons who don't know trucks have them get pissed off and do stupid shit out of road rage.
As for his joke, I'm welcome to give him Corbett. He can keep him. Free! Just like a kitten, except not cute and cuddly.

(31,849 posts)understands that small government results in small demand for American engineers. Where, praytell does he plan to work that doesn't get/depend on government contracts for its very survival?
