What Grade Would You Give The President On His Presser?

I thought it was a bravo performance, a veritable threefer...He smacked down McInsane, his little buddy, Lindsay Graham, and FAUX News.

With a thousand of these key sites to protect, we'd quickly run out of divisions. BlueStreak Nov 2012 #7

It was a businesslike discussion with an adult tone, which is quite a relief after 2-1/2 years of Republican sniping during the perma-campaign.

But he didn't break any new ground in any significant areas. I'm not saying he should have. That's why I say it is "Pass". He did what he needed to do. The real action happens in negotiations with Congress.

I still don't understand why people keep raising Benghazi as if it was some huge scandal. Are we supposed to place an army division at every outpost? And is Obama supposed to break the space-time continuum to get a force on the scene when the attack actually only lasted a couple of hours? Really, what does anybody expect? How would anybody else have done anything to prevent that attack? Why is nobody ever asked what their brilliant Monday Morning Quarterbacking skills say should have been done differently?

According to the neocons, yes. My dad is one. He thinks we should still be fighting Vietnam. It doesn't end. It's a very strange mindset. Peace is not part of their plan.

Maybe the Republicans would be happier if we outsourced that to ADT Security.
