...that he would get sick and go broke.
Insert that pukey-emoticon below.
NOTE: My point in bringing this to people's attention is to shine the light on how he does a disservice to his own listeners, encouraging them not to have health insurance, even implying that it is cowardly to cave into one's "fears" and get health insurance. Of course, he doesn't mention that with his net-worth probably higher than Mitt Romney's, there is zero chance he'll ever need to spend 3-4% of his wealth on health care.

(12,041 posts)He has the money to pay his medical bills, those of us who actually work rather than getting paid to belch into a microphone don't have the money to pay ridiculously high medical expenses.

(2,169 posts)Rich people don't forego health insurance because they can afford to pay. The cost of care is astronomical without insurance. it's not the same bill but you just pay it yourself. They know it and their greed would Trump their ideology, actually that is their ideology.

(12,254 posts)and his addiction(s) would have been discovered before he lost his hearing. He avoids 'authorities', including physicians, because he has lots of secrets and tons of bad habits. He's wealthy enough to self-insure.

(61,706 posts)If Rush goes to the doctor - which I doubt - he's been told to lose weight, lower his blood pressure, get some exercise, and get control of his addictions. Like all active addicts, he's in denial. There's nothing wrong with Rush!
