The Ethics Committee must investigate Cantor and Issa. Both are way overdue for expulsion.

(4,310 posts)The agent contacted Rep. Reichert with concerns that "officials were going to sweep the matter under the rug." Reichert's office reportedly forwarded on the concerns to top congressional officials, who notified FBI headquarters in Washington.
The agent was removed from the case, according to FBI officials, because he had "grown obsessed with the matter" and had "sent shirtless photos to Ms. Kelley well before the email investigation began," according to the Wall Street Journal.
No charges have been filed in the criminal investigation, but the FBI agent's conduct is currently under administrative review by the FBI's Office of Professional Responsibility.
Broadwell is currently under FBI investigation for improperly trying to access his email and possibly gaining access to classified information.

"top congressional officials" which did not include the proper officials like The Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee Dianne
Feinstein.

(4,310 posts)being forced to resign for, and I'm not being over dramatic, the risk he put this country in potentially.
This is not politicizing, this is a very true possibility. BUT there is a reason they involved Reichert.
As an unfortunate voter in his recently gerrymandered district and the need to take back the house,
I'm going to do what I can locally to once and for all strip this useless, Norquest signee, rubber stamp,
of his fake hero image he has built a career on.

(1,941 posts)I think he's a scumbag but I don't see anything he did here that was bad. He passed the info along to the FBI and left it at that. Or has more info come out?

(8,377 posts)I want to see Cantor go down through the election process.
We came up 65,000 votes short this time. We have to keep working on it. And meanwhile, it serves our purposes to have this asshat as the face of the GOP House caucus. I have no doubt that some of the thinks he will say and do in the next 2 years will help tip 5-10 seats our direction in 2014, even if he wins his deep red district.
