I think they got scared and maybe was in tears as the reality of their horrible loss mounted on them... You just doesn't decline a call from the US president - it is un polite and very nasty habit to have.. Yes they got beated down the hall and out on the court yard, dressed down and was standing there just in their underwear... But you just doesn't decline a call from the US president..

I fear mr Boner and the rest of the republicans will just dig in, and play chicken hawk with the democratic party, and with the US president the next couple of years - and I just hope that the president have the courage to fight them all the way and to tell the american people why it takes so long time to get anything doing in the country.. The US president have a MANDATE to work on now - and I just hope he dosen't back down when the republicans start to play hardball with him..
