I hope you are prepared to totally back up these words and let all tax cuts expire rather than give in to Republican extremism. Do not go Simpson Bowles on us, you will lose us and your good name forever. Be prepared to let "the worst" happen according to the nattering class, but after all tax cuts expire, propose a law to lower taxes on people making less than $250,000 a year and dare Repugs to vote against that. They are NOT going to compromise willingly. You, unfortunately, set the std. of caving to them so they don't think you have backbone enough to stand against them on tax policy.

Cutting taxes does not create jobs and you know that. Don't fall down that rabbit hole again or your election means little.
