Is there any way Obama could use David Stockman to sell his tax plan and fight Republicans?

I get the feeling Stockman feels like he created a monster and wants to make things right again. Would he work for Obama? Should Obama try and use him?

I think he could be VERY effective at getting out the message that taxes on the wealthy MUST be raised!

I mean, how do Republican's argue against Reagan's budget director? Not to mention it would undercut their message that Reagan was so perfect.

the intransigent repugs won't be moved, imo. (Hope I'm wrong, as I was about theft in OH and FL.) This is why I spent time and money trying to remove eric cantor, whom I do think is the major obstacle to progress.

We'll see what next Congress looks like, how it works, but I don't expect 'progress' until then.

... that it wouldn't mater if The Gipper and Jesus came down from the sky on flaming steeds named "Raise" and "Taxes", and gave a sermon on Capital Hill about returning to Clinton era tax rates, they still wouldn't budge.

David Stockman has helped already. WE need to continue citing David Stockman's positions in our arguments with others. He's gotten a lot of press recently because of who he is. I wouldn't try to co-opt David Stockman. Let serendipity do its thing.
