I just can't stop

gloating. Since Obama was declared the winner Tuesday night, I've been hungry for news on the demoralizing defeat the repukes have suffered. I can't seem to get enough information on how the rightwingnuts have been totally humiliated. I've been told it isn't nice to gloat, but damn, these guys had it coming.

My wife and I were at the edge of our seats watching the returns on TV, and when it was called for Obama, we breathed a collective sigh of relief. Still, my wife did not believe that Obama had won because she thought the repukes were going to steal this one. When finally, Faux Snooze called it for Obama, my wife was overjoyed.

Now, I have been a news hound trying to find information on the wound licking repukes. They deserve to be knocked down over and over reminding them of an Obama victory.

Why? Because at other blogs, where repukes are allowed to post, I've been called every name in the book. Of course I fight back, but these people have a one track mind and no amount of reality based information will get to them. They hate Obama, liberals and progressives with a passion. On TV, radio and the internet, the wingnuts have been vile, despicable, and degrading the left. If anything, they've kicked up their assault on us. So screw them, I'm going to be gloating for a long time to come.

Matter of fact, I have been watching foxnews, listening to rush and people of his ilk, going on free republic and redstate just to have a laugh.

For 4 years these people had been waiting for election night 2012 to "take their country back". They have been so consumed with Obama hate that they are shell shocked, it actually pretty scary.

Only right now, I was almost getting ready to take my sign down. I was just waiting for all the states to be called. My state dragged its feet and didn't declare a winner till saturday morning.

Anyway someone stole my sign friday night. So saturday when I saw it was gone, I got some plywood, paint and brushes from the shed and made two new signs.

- One is on the INSIDE of the window (this window faces the street and is even more visible then where my stolen sign was). It says OBAMA WON. and there are 4 solar spot lights on it.

- The other sign is bigger (I didn't feel like sawing this morning) and outside with also 4 solar spot lights. It reads. To the person that stole my sign Thank God OBAMA WON.

Now only to make a stance that I don't like my property stolen, I plan on leaving it up for a few more days.

If they had just left me alone all would be cool but no someone just couldn't do that.

Are you in a red state? Not one.single.Democrat won election from my state. Not one. I am worried.

If given the opportunity again I won't debate candidates or policies. I will, however, begin a conversation about hate and divisiveness and how destructive these attitudes will be for all of us in the long run. Hate feeds itself, amplifying at every iteration. As frightening as I found the prospect of a Romney presidency, the negative energy has long been festering and I really believe could be more damaging in the end.

I have decided that I will identify myself as the thing they are hating on so much and in that moment try to turn the tide, if not to better understanding then to less hatred, even by one small mote.

about the right wing already dividing the country. If you haven't heard, some wingnuts are calling for a revolution, guns sales are up, women and children are literally crying because they're afraid, some repuke politician from Texas is wanting the state to secede all because an Obama victory. They hate us now more than ever, and we're supposed to remain silent? Not now, maybe until the repukes have an honest change of heart, but I'm not holding my breath.

It's obvious to the most casual observer that being gracious toward RW ideologues is a waste of time and energy. To their way of thinking, acts of generosity or kindness are signs of weakness, and by extension, graciousness is a calling card of the spineless. I have no problem confronting their arrogance with ridicule - openly - and I will continue this practice as long as these blowhards air their grievances in polite company.

Republicans maintained control of the House because they gerrymandered the hell out of sates that they took control of in 2010 and earlier. When 2020 comes around, we need to be firmly in control of all blue states, all purples states and have control of some red states, or in the red states, at least have a powerful presence. We can't continue to allow republicans to gerrymander themselves into survival. Republican philosophy is too radical, the majority of voters in almost every state rejects it and republicans know that is a fact.

Yes, I know new Congress won't be sworn in until Jan, but there's work that can be done now. This is what they were elected to do. Time for them to do their job.

Their pathetic greedy small minded 'ideas' were given a good squashing.

And we really should rub it in their faces, how else will they feel shame.

This feels against our nature as Democrats who are usually too nice, but what would they do to us?

What DO they do to us every day and we have done nothing wrong.

They need to be made to feel small, so they shut up, seriously.

Limbaugh has empowered the most moronic people to speak out, the ones who should be shunned to the corner.

I'm not a mean person, but they are seriously hampering the progress of humanity.

Imagine what we could be if we focused on progress, on creating things instead of bombing and paying to rebuild them.

Imagine if we focused on creating health, instead of health care profits.

Imagine if we focused on helping people around the world, water and alternative energy for everyone! .... instead of the war on terror?

There is so much we can do, what a great country we could be...the country that JFK envisioned

and instead they have been steadily causing misery to millions of people not only here but around the world.

They need to be shamed.

But, I certainly do revel in their misery, even if it is only half the fraction of the misery their ratfuck party has caused this country over the last dozen years.
