Baby elephant interrupts Kenyan reporter with kisses! Hilarious & sweet. You need this! !

Imagine you're a TV reporter who's trying to deliver a very important message. But out of nowhere, you're interrupted by a cheeky baby elephant hell-bent on smothering you with kisses — sounds ridiculous, doesn't it?

Well, this is exactly what happened to KBC journalist Alvin Patterson Kaunda a couple of days back.

In the video, which has since gone viral, Alvin is seen talking about the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. This Kenya-based organisation works towards the rescue, rehabilitation and release of orphaned baby elephants. And while things started out well enough, an elephant calf called Kidani decided that she wanted to steal the spotlight.

But once Kidani’s trunk reached his nose and mouth Alvin couldn’t help but burst out laughing. I wonder what it felt like?

Wondering about that!

I suppose it might be something like a big fleshy pancake with lips.

They're a wonderful organization, and I regularly donate to them.
It's become my birthday gift from my mother-in-law every year!

I love elephants so much, and this video just strengthens that love!

Hey, whatever works!

I bet fewer people knew about this baby elephant support organization before. I bet more people do, now! Makes me wanna go there and get “nosed”!

...as for end of the trunk...perhaps a mix of cool dry, warm damp.

Certainly pretty unique! 😄

They feed infant elephants with cow’s milk in bottles made from 2-liter pop bottles. The cow’s milk isnt only easily obtained; it’s also close to elephant milk in nutritional value.

We just donated some clothes our daughter outgrew. This included the t-shirt I got for her at this facility. Hurt a little to do that.

Anyway - it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Nairobi.

That totally cracked me up. That reporter is so cool, he's got a wonderful laugh. What a couple of sweethearts, man and elephant.

That was just what I needed.
