While I'm not usually the kind of person to wallow in other people's sadness, this is absolutely delicious. I became politically aware on 9/11/01. As my opinions became more definitively liberal, I was called a socialist, a marxist, loony, a wacko, a libtard, etc., etc., et-fucking-cetera. Because of fox news and right-wing radio, coupled with the rest of the media too afraid to report facts or call bullshit bullshit for fear of being labeled liberal, I have been forced to live in an orwellian nightmare. A place where the book of Genesis should be taught as a legitimate part of science. A world where the economy is controlled by people with no understanding of economics. A world where people who can never give birth decide what's best for those that can. A world that screams for smaller, less intrusive govt. while, at the same time, screaming about who can fuck whom. Etc., etc., et-fucking-cetera. So yeah, I'm absolutely wallowing in the sorrow of the bigots, the sorrow of the supremely ignorant, the sorrow of the blind followers and their charlatan leaders. They should weep, the adults in the room have taken over. We as a people have moved on. Fuck you very much, and good riddance.
