*HELP w list of PrezO accomplishments, please.

Been having 'debate' w couple of high school classmates, started complaining about 'failure' of Fema in NY/NJ, (we lived on Long Island) lack of attention by PrezO, I posted 3 FEMA working hard articles, I wrote:

You are aware, I expect, Doug, that agencies have chains of command, and
that Presidents have more than a few things to do. NY Governor Cuomo fired his 'Emergency' leader because he had crews clearing his own driveway
instead of doing what they were supposed to do for others. President Obama is returning to the New York area next week, to examine how things are going.

NOW this: Good morning E.
I am real glad to hear that Pres. O will be back next week I am sure all
the people who are without ,electric , food , heat, water, gas, and other amenities of life are thrilled to death (literally) that he is taking such
a hands on interest in their plight I know I would be. There is something I believe you should be aware of, Bush is no longer Pres, Mr. O is~~~~~.
With that understood its time to start holding Mr, O accountable for his poor performance if he is as infallible as you believe, he should have learned from past errors not repeat them!!!!!!!!People who are undergoing the hardships that I can not endure do not give a darn about ' CHAIN OF COMMANDD" , they just want action from a leader a real leader Whoops, I forgot the campaign is over he can do what he wants, blame those Americans who have lived the American dream and worked hard to achieve success , where we not
taught by our parents that hard work pays off?
How are things progressing concerning the four Americans killed under
his watch do we really need an investigation to admit it was terrorism?? Ah, but that's another days conversation.
Rodney King , a real hero( yea right) said it best ,"Cant we all just
get along?' What a guy.
Kenneth I just sent my donation to the Red Cross , good for you. Has anyone
also done that or are they just giving lip service to this disastera///////??????

AND this:

Does he really have to make an appearance for a photo op to examine how things are going? HEY MR. O. turn on the news call Cuomo, call Christie,
check your chain of command , send the VP lets get moveing.

Note I never said 'infallible.' I may drop it, but had to share with y'all,

Thanks

E

Namely:

and the 8/6/2011 PDB memo

From 8/6/2008 Think Progress:

Today marks seven years since the day President Bush received a President’s Daily Brief entitled “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.” (See the memo here.) At the time, Bush was vacationing at his ranch in Crawford, TX and stayed on vacation the rest of August 2001. Here’s how the administration reacted, according to the 9/11 Commission report:

We have found no indication of any further discussion before September 11 among the President and his top advisers of the possibility of a threat of an al Qaeda attack in the United States. DCI Tenet visited President Bush in Crawford, Texas, on August 17 and participated in the PDB briefings of the President between August 31 (after the President had returned to Washington) and September 10. But Tenet does not recall any discussions with the President of the domestic threat during this period. [p. 262]

The day after he received the memo, “Bush seemed carefree as he spoke about the books he was reading, the work he was doing on his nearby ranch, his love of hot-weather jogging, his golf game and his 55th birthday,” the Washington Post noted. Today — 2,557 days later — Bin Laden still remains free and “determined to strike in U.S.”

See, President Obama didn't choose to ignore Sandy's warnings. Bush 'chose' to read books, clear brush, and not be bothered by the fact the FBI had 70 SEVENTY different ongoing investigations into AL Queda and terrorist attacks here in America one full month prior to 9/11.

It's about being proactive. Obama made sure to get the word out, and have FEMA on the ground PRIOR to Sandy... and they remain to this date. Bush let Americans die. Therein lies the difference. And it's a big one. It's friggin HUGE.
