Petraueus starts the deck shuffling

Petraeus' resignation is a great thing. Obama should have dumped him years ago. At any rate, whatever the reason he is leaving (I don't buy that is is solely the affair), he is leaving and it starts the shuffling of the deck that will be Obama's Second Term Cabinet.

Now that the dam has been breached, expect a flurry resignations, appointments and lateral moves. We know Clinton will soon leave the State Department, so already two high-level positions are to be filled.

How about a thread for guessing the moves and the make-up of the new Cabinet?

Holder was opining whether he had fire to continue, which revealed he will leave shortly. Again, happy to see him go. Nothing good to say about Panetta either.

THis could be a great second term cabinet with the bush holdovers and lacklusters leaving. Clinton is not included in that characterization.

I hope Obama does not reach across the aisle for the upcoming appointments.
