Peter Morrison, Texas GOP Official, Calls For 'Amicable Divorce' From 'Maggots' Who Voted For Obama
The Huffington Post | By Nick Wing Posted: 11/09/2012 10:08 am EST

As some Republicans continue to cope with the prospect of another four years under President Barack Obama, a Texas GOP official is floating a simple way out: cleaving his state from the union.

Peter Morrison, treasurer of the Hardin County Republican Party, wrote a column in the post-election edition of his Tea Party newsletter this week calling for an "amicable divorce" from the U.S., the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

"Why should Vermont and Texas live under the same government?" he wrote. "Let each go her own way."

Morrison went on to express anger at the "maggots" who backed Obama, specifically calling out non-white voters, whom he accused of voting for the president on an "ethnic basis."

Let them leave the union and I hope the Mexican army invades and kicks their butts again. Don't call us.

Texans believe that they have an "option to leave the union" because of something in the Texas state constitution...

Fine... let them leave...

Senate goes to 98 with 55 democrats and independents.

House loses 24 republicans and 12 democrats.

Harry Reid gets rid of the filibuster.

But 50 states is the right number... and Puerto Rico voted for statehood.

So unload Texas and let Puerto Rico join... We get 57 Democratic Senators (to 43 repukes) AND we win control of House. The House declares that only the Federal Government can control federal elections so it redraws the congressional districts in all of the states... and we forever end the Republican party as a threat to our nation (which they are right now).

Oh, and in a few years when the ignorant whites become a small minority in Texas... we let them back in ( but they have to get rid of that stupid "Don't mess with Texas" slogan )

"Another Republican, former U.S. Senate candidate Larry Kilgore of Arlington, writes on his website he will run for governor in 2014 under the name "SECEDE Kilgore." "

Also, when I lived in Houston, the suburbs and exurbs had people who drove pickups with confederate flags on them. The hate is big and the justification for white pride is something to behold. One woman who spent some time defending her son's love for displaying the confederate flag once went into a screaming fit against me when I said something humorous and derogatory about Bush on the grounds that he's the president and no one should disrespect the president.

Well, I gotta tell you. People like her and her son did plenty of disrespecting Obama in a very hateful way!

I live here. Confederate flags are not a common sight here, not like they were in Mississippi when I lived there.
Stop painting all Texans with the same brush.

I got ZERO reaction to my Obama For President t-shirt.... wore them two days in a row after elections.

Lots of silence... and immediately trashed Romney/Ryan signs...(The Obama signs stayed up a bit longer).

Texas Republicans have a plan.
They are getting George P. Bush into the game.

Well, even us maggots who voted for Obama can be shocked at the behavior of our elected officials calling for secession so they can just give the state to the minorities and Hispanics who made us like Vermont, even though no rational mind on earth would think Texas and Vermont were even close to being similar.

The egregious racism and hateful mindset is stunning! Texas is in worse shape than it's been since the Civil War. It's as though we've timewarped back 150 years to the Confederacy! And Morrison has been chosen to help screen textbooks in Texas too!
