I am rooting against a deal, because I think the best course of action is to do nothing, and bring back the previous rates. If I was conspiracy minded, I would say this was the grand plan all along, and they did it this way so both parties would share the blame equally.

special and ingrained power interests that have nothing to do with the good of the People nor national secuirty of the USA much less for the ecology or human or life population of Planet Earth.

Human condition in the faux history of the Abrahamic texts is bizarre and dysfunctional.

We -- the USA -- are determined to be a blip, if noticed or cared, in the geologic record before major transformation.

Humanity disappoints me.

I hope POTUS Obama gets real in the appointments and policies of the next two years.

The USA does have significance to Planet Earth and the current community of nations by circumstance. This deserves respect.

I would rather see ALL tax cuts expire and the country taken over the fiscal cliff before I see terrorists being rewarded for being terrorists.
