But if he did have an affair he's a security risk if anybody finds out about it. I assume that's the reason for the investigation of Paula Broadwell possibly hacking his e-mails.

let's back up a bit.... why was a four, five? star general named the head of the CIA in the first place?? was I the only one totally UNcomfortable with this appointment when it happened?

Omar Bradley, the last remaining five-star, died in 1981.

The five-star, or General of the Army, is only appointed in time of war. Technically, we haven't been "at war" since 1945...
