URGENT ! Talk to your cREEPs - they're ready to kill blackbox voting


If they need persuasion, remind them that Iran and China can hack the pentagon so...guess what? They can hack OUR votes. Works like a charm.

If you don't get judgy, some will mention that they are disillusioned with the nutballfaction of their party! Bonus!

We can bipartisanly get back to paper ballots. By the mid-terms! Our constitutional right to vote and have the votes counted in the open, in public ('member that?), is something we can get all fight for. Right now.

I know because I grew up in CT which has had such a law for nearly 50 years. (On the grounds that paper ballots were/are insecure and easily faked or manipulated.)

They've switched to the same electronic machines as everybody else but my first election, in 2000, we were voting on mechanical-lever machines because that's what the law required.
