Too tedious. That's why they pay big money at the fund raisers, so they can con ordinary people to vote for their guy.

but in the past year, I donated money to the side I used to vote against.

Tea Partiers are nuts.

I guess what really galvanized me was watching Bloomberg in NYC during Occupy.

He annoyed the holy living shit out of me and I mailed my first leftist donation right then,
and I fucking sent him an email telling him that I would withdraw all money from the banking system
(and I did, too, motherfucker) and would donate to leftists until I see something change.

they refused to be turned back to the 50s. They fought for their rights. They didn't care who threatened to fire them. It was wonderful.

15. My thoughts also. As I watched people waiting in outrageous lines to push back, I felt proud.

When I saw on election night how well they pushed back, tears came to my eyes.

I made it a point to drive by the rich people's areas. Hardly any lines. They had enough machines.
It means a lot, doesn't it.

uniformed standards on early voting and the number of precincts and vote counting machines per capital. But I doubt that will happen as long as republicans have any say.

13. The wealthier the precinct the less likely people are to stand in line.

In my blue state I have heard about people standing in line in cities and precincts running out of ballots, but I have not experienced that in my precinct. My longest wait to vote was maybe 10 minutes, once or twice in all the elections that I have voted in.
