(6,700 posts)1. I don't think that's realistic, GOP gerrymandered all the districts in 2010

(2,190 posts)16. the map
isn't based on congressional or legislative districts.
It is based on counties.

(39,215 posts)7. All about the electoral college.

(32,640 posts)8. Bingo. There are a lot of people that move out to rural areas
because they don't want to deal with people or diversity.

(53,661 posts)15. It's a terrrible thing. They drool over the thought of people in cities dying from want, but we are
the ones who buy their goods and keep them viable.
They're sick and will kill anything that isn't identical to them.
I know there are pockets of Democrats, progressives and liberals in those areas, but they are literally beaten down if they try to reason with the neanderthals among them.
They have left America and the Dream behind unfortunately.

(35,445 posts)13. Precisely. These maps greatly distort reality
Oklahoma has a population total of 3.8 million people. Obama won over 5.5 million in California alone.

(43,191 posts)5. Acres of empty land are people, my friend.
So says the GOP.

(43,191 posts)6. So am I correct: Utah, Nebraska and Oklahoma...
....are the only true red states?
LiberalFighter
(51,054 posts)9. Only if you allow a state to be called red even if some vote Democratic
LiberalFighter
(51,054 posts)10. Now lets see a map that is proportional to the votes.
