tons of sand needed! I used to go there and loved it as a kid

we mostly go to Tobay Beach now because it is less crowded and we can go by boat and dock on the bay side.

ultimately i would agree that that is the only way to go, but there is a lot of private property that would ultimately be effected. Since government has historically maintained inlets, filled breaches and replenished beaches, there could be legal ramifications to changing course. Ideally all barrier islands should be purchased and converted to low impact park usage, but that is big bucks.
