I just saw that it appears the Tacopina crap is being reviewed to see if there is a conflict which it appears so. Stormy presented new evidence on their communications. IMO this won't be a long delay or stop the inevitable. The right is trying to say Bragg is hiding this. The Judge will decide soon.

A reporter asked him if had a conflict having represented Clifford's in the past, and he denied it.

Could be Clifford's or her lawyers knew he was lying and sent info to the da or court.

It's possible it never occurred to anyone until he lied about it.

Apparently Stormy Daniels also contacted him about representing her in the hush money case (before she hired Avenatti). Tacopino had previously admitted on national television to having a prior attorney-client relationship with Daniels. He told Don Lemon, "I can't really talk about my impressions or any conversations we'd had because there is an attorney-client privilege that attaches even to a consultation." Now he claims he never actually talked to her, but if there was even a consultation he has a conflict of interest because he now represents TFG.

Seems possible that prosecutors may have to offer Trump chance for change of defense from Tacopina or otherwise the conflict of interest could taint the whole case if Trump were to claim inadequate or improper representation.

This isn't a trial. It's a sitting grand jury. Tfg himself decided not to testify.

His lawyer isn't relevant to the gj deliberations. But would be required to negotiate a surrender to the court.

Until he is actually charged, his lawyer would seem irrelevant.
