Karl Rove: Obama succeeded by suppressing the vote
Karl Rove defended Republicans work this election cycle, arguing that President Obama only won by making neither candidate look palatable and that Mitt Romney, not outside groups, should have fought back harder.
The presidents campaign succeeded by suppressing the vote, Rove told Fox News. They effectively denigrated Mitt Romneys character, business acumen, experience.

Their feeble attempt at sanctimony is rather humorous.

(3,014 posts)Subtle "I think 'suppression' is when people tell the truth about my candidate...as opposed to making it uber difficult for people to...you know...vote" statement.

(23,350 posts)If the other team is doing something right, claim it as your own, brag about being the cause of it, give the other team no credit at all.
If your team is screwing up, claim the other team is doing this screwup, disown it, blame the other team.
So, yes, in a Rovian world, the Democrats succeeded by suppressing the vote.
