at about 40 seconds, Megan Kelly is on her way to the Fox "Decision Desk" after Karl Rove has
challenged the Ohio results.
she says cryptically, "We were thinking this wouldn't be necessary..."

at 1:18, she says, "When we practiced this before in our rehearsals....'

So I haven't heard any good contextual explanation of this, but, why the hell would they have
been rehearsing a scenario questioning the Ohio vote totals?

Karl was to say they called some critical state too early so she could do her cute little march down the hall. Of course it was planned, otherwise they would have had the number crunchers come to the show's set.

As Nate Silver said, its time for the pundits to acknowledge they are doing it to entertain and not to inform.
