Hey rethugs: by all means, keep moving to the right. Embrace the dark side.
Keep swerving further and further to the right. Keep telling us how rape is God's gift to women, how they should be thankful that God used a rapist to give them a child. Keep telling us how you want small government, EXCEPT when it comes to people's private lives - then it's as much government as possible. Keep telling us how climate change isn't happening, despite what we can all see and feel around us. Keep telling us how badly the rich are doing, that we need to give them MORE tax breaks, and just shift the tax burden to the middle class and poor. Keep telling us that health care should not be a right, but rather a privilege for those with $$$.
Keep it up, and you will guarantee that your party will never EVER win another presidential election. Yes, you may still win seats on Congress here and there. But even those will start to shrink as the demographics in this country continues to shift.
So by all means - please keep moving further and further to the right.
