Massive GOP framing going on -- don't let this happen!

GOP frame: the onus is on Obama to work with Republicans. No progress will happen unless Obama is willing to extend himself, not be so "cold" and aloof,

That's the frame they are hurrying to establish.

They establish a narrative, the media follows along. Rove is a master at it.

saying Obama didn't get a mandate, but hey, although they still have the House, we gained in the Senate and the House both. So what does that make it look like the American public was thinking? Who should be a little more willing to work with the other side now, huh Boehner, you prick?

or belittle gay war veterans, or cheer border fences that can electrocute aliens. That'll win the support of the American people in the face of Obama's dastardly coldness.

So where's my hugs? Comon guys, you know you want to.

Now there are two choices here:

1) Come to the table willingly with ideas and reasonable proposals and get some credit for doing something for the American people or

2) Continue the whinny brat behavior and stand in the corner until you're willing to get to work.

Your choice.
