Some fire from a few frustrated freepers at work today

Man, were they fired up. One especially ill individual hollered how we were in trouble now.

'If you thought it was bad before . . . just wait. It's going to get worse' . . . and, so on.

I'm not taking any shit. First, I let them know that I wasn't going to be some soft target to take hits for whatever problem they had with the election.

Second, I snapped them out of their Romney-induced delusion that the bad economy began or was worsened by Barack Obama. Nothing wrong, at all, with MY memory. If you can't tell the difference between negative job growth and an entire term of growing employment, you really don't deserve any job of responsibility or consequence in retail where MATH matters.

It's like this. All republicans had was the hope that American voters would paper-over and effectively validate the republican platform of lies that Romney used to lure in his supporters. That opportunistic facade has been completely eviscerated and undone by Pres. Obama's victory. Their dishonesty has been laid bare, and hangs around the former Romneyites' necks like scarves of rotting meat.

Damn right, they looked positively insane today; ranting on about microchips, gays marrying, home-use-legal pot . . . and, if they hadn't shut the hell up when I snapped back, I just might have tried to have them committed. No retreat, no surrender!

I overheard them so I didn't say anything, but I'm shocked to listen to them considering what we had just four years ago.

To me it's simple, '750,000 jobs LOST EACH MONTH when he started compared to 175,000 JOBS ADDED EACH MONTH now.'. After knowing this fact, how anyone can make a comment like, 'it's going to get worse', is fucking insane.

I basically spoke in an elevated tone, "Rasmussen is a RW poll that has been debunked time and time again...". That seemed to shut them up real quick. Today feels sooooo sweet....!

If that is how they want it, you need to file a complaint and press the issue with their supervisor until they lose their jobs. That is a hostile work environment they are creating just because their guy didn't win. They need to be punished for their behavior.

I love her but wow. She is usually more moderate then my Rush loving father. But she said the country is going to hell and she is moving out of CT, it is too blue for her. Ranted about taxes and having no freedom for 1/2 an hour. I finally told her I had to go. It was really too much. I didn't do this to my parents in 2000 or 2004.

2nd Amendment "remedies"?

I understand she's hurting. She's very RW, doesn't post much about her politics so I want to cut her some slack, give her time to lick her wounds, but this kind of talk makes her look mental.

I can tell you that the state really IS totally creepy and scary and boy! was I happy when I finally left. We had a boatload of teabaggers decades before they were fashionable, and a whole slew of Mormons to boot.

Now my vote actually counts for something in the great state of Colorado! (Liberate red state hostages! The electoral college must go!)

the Obama supporters are not gloating, at least not openly. We're exchanging smiles and high fives behind their backs.

A fb friend of my daughter was ranting last night that the Muslims and f**s have "sold their soles to the devil" to get Obama elected. She started to ask him what the devil wanted with their shoes, but thought better of it. I pointed out how you can spot a RWer by their spelling.

Of course, over 41% (and growing) of it is quite happy. [img][/img] Unfortunately, 57% is just plain stupid and think the same thing your daughter's FB friend believes.

but the level of insanity in some of the comments he and his friends were making had me re-thinking that, so I left his settings as they were.

I never really un-friended him, just un-checked all the settings so that I don't see his posts.
