Let's take a moment to reflect on Citizens United

I remember the day the SCOTUS upheld that heinous and Orwellian creature. It seemed to be a bleak time for our democracy. But, to paraphrase a nobody, corporations are not people, my friends, we are. And We The People proved yesterday, that citizens united is not nearly as Orwellian as it sounded and that our Democracy is every bit the match for the Koch brothers, turd blossom and even Walmart.

Let us not forget that we have all the power we need, we need only take it and use it wisely.

Americans can't be bought. Well, most of them can't be bought.

It warms my heart to know that all those people who donated millions to Romnedy, either directly or to SuperPACs, have flushed their money down the toilet and back into circulation. I'm sure a few Democrats work for some of the ad agencies, newspapers, magazines, TV/radio stations, etc. where all that money went to.

So, thank you, Koch brothers, for helping America's economy. Sorry your dude lost.

Well, except for the last sentence. Not at all sorry that your shitty candidate is gone, hopefully for good.

yes the people spoke last night - but - with that money looming over future elections - the threat is still there.

But we must have our moment of feeling our power and enjoying that the overentitled ones were dismissed and will now face a grand jury around their 2009 tax return. You didn't think that was going away, did you?

Look at Linda McMahon, blowing $100 million in CT and still losing.

I expect that this will fade significantly as a priority issue.

they planned on and got what they wanted.
These evil people are patient, they have unlilmited money and they will regroup in more top-secred Koch-funded plotting sessions and come at us again and again until we remove private donations from elections. We need taxpayer-only financed elections, free tv spots for candidates and equal time returned to the airwaves. Including cable.

but you're missing the point, I think. We The People crushed the corporations. The Republicans in Congress will know that we will target and remove them if they don't learn a little bipartisanship.

No argument there. Citizens United needs to be buried in a deep, deep whole and covered with dog shit, lots of dog shit.
