Take a look at the spending in the Michele Bachman race, then the margin, then re-think. Scuba Nov 2012 #11

1. That they lost?
2.. Or..That they wasted so much money trying to defeat him?

We should start a Republican Kool-Aide fund.. and buy up a few thousand packets of Lemon or Strawberry Kool Aide, to send to Boehner and others.

When all those Koch jerks get their bank statements next month, it will be the wasted money.

Karl Rove has a comeuppance on his plate real soon.

when Gene Hackman fails to get the jury for the gun merchants. ooh they are pissed. i would like to be a fly on the wall when Rove has to face the people who squandered such great big bucks on a losing race.

The guy ends up in cement shoes at the bottom of the river. Or set up, so the cops come and drag him away in Handcuffs. Or meets with some scary men, who take him out back and give him a Mafia style execution. (Then the cement boots.)

Huh? oh sorry...I was just day dreaming...

in the stratosphere of the obscenely rich i believe it often involves a plane crash, but of course, i'd rather see his sorry ass in prison.

But, yeah, I'd love to be a fly on the wall for that little charade with Rove myself.

What is funny that I see on all the republican web sites today, though it that not one of them has addressed the issues of women and Latinos. In fact, on redstate, they are still denying the War on Women.

Not to mention, they still haven't recognized how many Tea Partiers were voted out of office.

One has to wonder who will be the leader who mentions those little tidbits. And, how long it will take them to rip him/her to shreds.

I imagine the election would have been even better for us if they hadn't saturated the airwaves with their propaganda. Particularly in the congressional races. A LOT of outside $$ was spent on congressional races that that I think influenced those "undecideds".

just based on the fact that it is really difficult to beat an incumbent.

A lot of money was also spent in the Presidential race trying to influence undecideds. It certainly did them no good. I can't imagine that it would work in congressional races when it didn't in the Presidential.

Incumbency is what won those races, not money.

Seriously, did you really think she was going to be defeated? Not a chance.

The same is true for Paul Ryan.

Money didn't matter in either of those races, the DEM candidates never had a chance against a multi-term incumbent.
