Should BO have called him out individually? Is this done in private? I don't have a good feel for what is "right".

But I have no doubt that "Big Dog" will be thanked for his role in bringing in the votes. He is still a powerful force in American politics.

Personally I felt just fine allowing Obama & Biden the spotlight, it is their win, and their future to build.

My father believed Obama should have singled Clinton out, but didn't really think it was any kind of slight.

Clinton was undoubtedly an enormous asset and I believe has and will continue to receive due credit--but tonight was for the present, and IMO the focus was right where it should have been- on the historic re-election of Barack Obama, and the people of the country he leads. Plenty of time for kudos and high-fives to go around.
