This isn't 2008

It's an even sweeter victory for the President, this time around. It's affirmation of the change in direction we ushered in when we first elected Barack Obama. It's a confirmation of the progressive mindset of the American people. It's a mandate to finish the work we've started. We just won. Republicans don't get to dictate to us what the American people want. They overwhelmingly chose our Democratic party tonight to represent them. They've rejected the best and worst the republicans had to offer -- in so many of their signature races. We won the mandate for change tonight, across the board. It's a brand new term. Sweetness!
