Hi, this is Florida, your relative. As you know, we have had our problem kicking the habit of Dixie politics. Yes, our falls have been many, but right now, we are on the road to recovery. So, I say that we need to check in to a rehab clinic, and get the last of the toxin out. It is sad, especially you North carolina, who kept the convention, but still voted with Mitt. We are the hope of Dixie, Texas won't turn blue for a few more years, so the rtesponsibility ios on us to get clean, and get BLUE.

Note: The author of this OP realizes that there are many progressives in VA and NC, however, the truth is, neither Florida, Va or NC should go red tonight.

4. My point is not to beat down

I know what it is like to be the ugly duck. I remember arguing with people like Pab S, that we did not need to shit out NC, and feeling sad when he seemed right. I want NC to be blue. I am also aware that northern Vriginia is the strong p[art that the rest of VA leechess off of, despite all their GOP talk. I think Northnern Va may need to cut itself off from Dixie, the way West Virginia did.
